Forgotten Ways

Forgotten Ways

Nithinkumar J Pathanapuram

“I have to write two more lines, as proof that I lived before I died. I was the one who started to forget my own life. I can not take my life back anymore. The time cycle has gone too far beyond me.”

Seventy-eight-year-old Devdas is sitting in the light breeze under a banyan tree with four seeds wrapped around his saffron bush in his palm. Like an empty arena … the body speaks so loudly.
“I’m so sick … I’ll fall now … help me .. help me ..”
That did not seem to be a problem for the proud mind. Devdas does not remember ever asking anyone for help. May be memory loss. From stage to stage … how many times you have changed from line to line. Not only is he acting in life … he may also be guiding many in the ranks ..

“All the life dramas I have acted in and directed have been successful … except for me!
No complaints .. No worries .. Those who brought me lost but all I brought were successful .. Victory took them to greater and higher heights .. I stood looking down as a spectator .. Just hoping to join me .. Just …. “

He sat on the altar thinking about his life for a long time. Finally he got up and walked to the garden in front of him .. full of flowers .. fragrance everywhere .. Devadas felt like a kind of meditation .. a smile spread across his face .. nothing could convince anyone .. no one was looking .. Yes .. but many people can not set aside some time for Devdas from the rush. Who cares?

There is no time to think yet .. If it is late, the death train will pass without stopping .. Another chance later …….

It was always like that .. Opportunities would go away quickly by making fun of the front …

The seven decades that Devdas thought he was alive were really eight decades … It was time to erase from memory … The last treasure he kept in his hand or only four seeds in total.
“I’m going to give many more shade, sweet and light cool breezes in the future …”
He threw the seeds into the garden.

He had forgotten the last two lines he wanted to write down … the black clouds began to descend .. the views began to fade .. he had already acknowledged his own failure. Waiting for the last chance for the first time .. Here Devdas will win ..
Death!
