You will see at least one person running in every town in any country on any given day. Running after all is one of the the most popular form of exercise. The sport  of running does not have such a huge fan following for no apparent reason ; once u get started with running and the initial discomfort, running has some amazing benefits that improve your physical and mental health and well being.
 
From improving your cardio health and reducing your risk of heart diseases there are many benefits of running. 
 
Here are some key benefits:
 
Running reduces stress:
 
Going outside and clocking miles is a great way to destress and ease tension. Running reduces the stress and makes you relaxed.
 
Running boosts confidence:
 
Running is a lot about setting goals achieving things you initially didn’t think were possible. As such running can help form a sense of self confidence.
 
Running burns calories 
 
Running is a metabolically demanding exercise and burns a lot of calories . when it comes to numbers of calories burned running is probably the most efficient exercise. If losing weight is your goal, running can be an important contributor .

You don’t need anything besides a good pair of running shoes to get started. This being said, having the right gear will keep you comfortable in different seasons.
