Some cheerful
Some dejected
I have been with them from the moment
you forked your path
I am with cavalcade of memories
That is what I am left with
At the end
I would love to sleep
with them.
Dr. Jyotisikha Dutta is a Ph.D holder in Economics from Gauhati University. She also completed her M.Phil and masters in Economics from the same University. At present, she is working in the Department of Women’s Studies, Gauhati University. A resident of Guwahati, Assam, Dr. Dutta has penned a dozen of poems both in Assamese and English language.
