A Conscious Ignorance
It was wintry, chilly and cold,
Cosy Blankets and fluffy jackets unfold,
The mighty Brahmaputra was at its calm phase,
Unaware of its blitz, they were far from its rage.

The light at the end of the tunnel- drawing me in
Like a moth to a flame
In I go! Tracing the lines on the concrete wall
With my bare hands
As I sit at my study
I glance without, often.
Through the fleur grills
my eyes sight the world
Thoughts dwelling in our heart
Thoughts enriching the world
Thoughts opposing sorrow
Thoughts enchanting our tomorrow
In the alternate universe
That we live in
You have already
Made love to me
In all ways possible
The world I seek is simple.
I see beast and man,
relishing hand in hand.
Where Alps and Fuji
are ever-nigh neighbours,
Blood sucking leeches and serpents abound,
Crawl in this spiral into infinite darkness and beyond.
