do not decry your aloneness
in this uncaring world
surely you feel me
in every breath of your melancholy as
my soul rides the selfless sunbeam
each morning to comfort your unmet yearning
journeying long from the lonely sun

Along with the muezzin’s call of maghrib in twilight
came that shocking news-
inhaling oxygen betrayed you
and you departed tip toeing

A land of idyllic bliss—-
Where the bright sunlight peeps through the lush green hills lustrously;
Like a golden halo!!!
Where the crystal clear waters flow seamlessly along a river;

If I have to scale the heights she reaches,
I’d be a midding being near her accomplishments,
She is the mountain, I the knoll,
She is the Trailblazer

Walking through the long turret,
Up the algae-wrapped steps,
Greenery soothing the parched sight,
The dry twigs sigh under the feet in pain,
The hanging trellis and roots,

Do you remember ?
The dessert queen.
Faded glory of the greatest civilization.

Winter- in a hurry to bid farewell
As the lonesome trees slouched, their leaves hung low
People longed for their loved ones to return
The cold mess unearthed the deep seated warmth of the households from aeons ago!

Autumn days, auburn twilights
I sit myself often
on a rocking chair, crafted
by my beloved’s hand

It was wintry, chilly and cold,
Cosy Blankets and fluffy jackets unfold,
The mighty Brahmaputra was at its calm phase,
Unaware of its blitz, they were far from its rage.
